The vet behind your pet's move

I spent two years as a quarantine vet at Dubai Airport, checking pets in and out of the UAE. Today I plan each canisfelis move myself, from the first vet visit to the moment your pet lands.

Veterinary Quarantine, Dubai Airport

With the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, from September 2022 to October 2024, I was one of the vets who cleared animals through Dubai Airport.

  • Examined animals arriving and departing, checking for infectious disease and parasites.
  • Applied local and international animal health rules, including CITES.
  • Managed quarantine for animals needing isolation or observation.
  • Issued the reports, certificates and permits for legal import and export.
  • Worked daily with customs officers, airport staff and other authorities.

What that means for your pet

I know what an inspector checks, because I was the inspector. Your pet's paperwork is prepared the way it is read at the airport, so there are no surprises on the day.

And because I'm a vet, I can judge whether your pet is fit to fly and plan the move around their age, breed and temperament.
